Danny Koh

Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Executive Director



Danny has over 15 years of private equity experience in Southeast Asia and has invested and originated over US$1b of transactions. He began his private equity career with 3i where he invested in and exited several successful deals. More recently, he led the Southeast Asia private equity team at Actis before he founded Tower Capital Asia in 2016.

Danny has a Bachelor of Accountancy from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. Besides being on the boards of portfolio companies, he sits on the Services Committee of the National Council of Social Service, Singapore and is Vice Chairman of Community Chest, Singapore.

Jia Hui Loh

Chief Operating Officer, Executive Director



Jia Hui has over 10 years of private equity experience in Southeast Asia. Before joining Tower Capital Asia at its inception in 2016, she was a core member of Actis in Singapore where she was also part of the global financial services and healthcare sector teams. Prior to this, she was in FTI Consulting’s Corporate Finance and Restructuring practice in London.

Jia Hui has a Bachelor of Accountancy from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore and a Master of Science in Accounting and Finance from the London School of Economics and Political Science. She is a Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, and a member of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants.

Bill Foo

Non-Executive Director



Bill has over 30 years of experience in financial services in Asia. He spent 16 years at ANZ, where he was CEO of ANZ Singapore and Vice Chairman of ANZ SEA. He was also Regional Head of Investment Banking for Schroders.

He is a Director and Chairman of several listed, private and non-profit entities, including Tung Lok, Mewah Group, CDL Hospitality Trusts, Singapore Israel Business Circle, International Institute of Strategic Studies Asia, and The Salvation Army. He is also a Senior Advisor at BDA Partners.

Bill has a Bachelor of Business Administration from Concordia University, Master of Business Administration from McGill University, and an honorary Doctor of Commerce from James Cook University Australia.

Ken Costa

Senior Advisor, Financial Services



Ken has over 40 years of experience in the financial sector. He served as Chairman of Lazard International from 2007 until 2011. Prior to Lazard, he was Chairman of UBS Investment Bank for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. He also served as Vice Chairman of Investment Banking at UBS.

Ken holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Law and Philosophy from the University of Witwatersand and a Masters of Law from Cambridge University.

Alberto Bautista

Senior Advisor, Healthcare



Al has over 30 years of experience in healthcare, most recently as Chairman of LHi Technology, a developer and manufacturer of specialty medical cables and connectors. Prior to that, Al was Senior Partner (Healthcare) at 3i for 6 years, and was President of Baxter Healthcare Asia, a leading global medical supply and services company.

Al holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Philippines and a Master of Science degree in Management from MIT Sloan School of Management.

Ralph Kugler

Senior Advisor, Consumer



Ralph has over 20 years of consumer experience with Unilever in a variety of roles, and was Executive Director on the main board. He has also held non-executive positions on the boards of Intercontinental Hotels Group and Mars, and was previously Chairman of Cognita Schools.

He is currently Chairman of Williams Lea Tag, a provider of marketing and communications services and Headbox, an online platform for business spaces. He is also an independent board Director at Keter Group.

Ralph holds a BA (1st Class Honours) in Economics from the University of Leeds and a MA in Industrial Relations from the University of Warwick.

Aaron Boey

Senior Advisor, Operations



Aaron is a seasoned senior executive with extensive strategic and operational leadership experience globally and over 25 years of consumer experience.

He was Executive Vice President and President, Asia-Pacific for Levi Strauss & Co., managing all the company’s brands in the region. Prior to that, he held senior positions in large consumer MNCs such as Asia Pacific Breweries and Philips Electronics. He is currently the CEO of Eu Yan Sang International Limited, a portfolio company of Tower Capital Asia.

Aaron is also active in the public sector. He was a member of the board of the Singapore Tourism Board, and served on the Singapore Economic Strategies Committee and the National Productivity and Continuing Education Council. Since 2017, he has been on the Advisory Board of the Singapore Management University Academy.

Nicholas Yeo

Advisor, Real Estate



Nicholas is currently a Director at TCRE Partners. He began his career at UBS as a research analyst with its Investment Office and more recently at Alpha Investment Partners where he played a critical role across Investments, Asset Management, Corporate Finance and Portfolio Management; and worked on numerous transactions exceeding US$1 billion.

Nicholas has a Bachelor of Arts from Columbia College, Columbia University, New York, where he majored in Economics, with a minor in Fine Arts.

Xuan Yong Soh

Managing Director



Xuan Yong has over 15 years of private equity and credit investment experience. Before joining Tower Capital Asia in 2018, he was Investment Director at ICG, where he led deals across Asia Pacific. Prior to this, he was with 3i and global hedge funds based in Hong Kong, New York and Singapore. Xuan Yong began his career at Merrill Lynch in investment banking.

Xuan Yong has a Bachelor of Arts (Distinction) from Cornell University with a triple major in Computer Science, Economics and Independent Major (College Scholar Program). He also holds CFA and FRM charters. Besides being on the boards of portfolio companies, he sits on the Professional Development committee of the Singapore Venture & Private Equity Association (SVCA).

Wening Teoh

Senior Manager, Compliance, Finance and Operations



Wening joined Tower Capital Asia in 2018. She has over 10 years of experience in finance, operations and audit. Her previous role was with a regional venture capital firm headquartered in Singapore, where she was responsible for finance, operations and compliance matters. She started her career at Ernst & Young.

Wening has a Bachelor of Commerce in Accounting and Finance from Monash University Australia. She is a member of CPA Australia.

Boon Swan Foo

Senior Advisor, Team Mentor



Boon brings to the team a wealth of experience, having held many high profile appointments in Singapore over the years.

He is currently the Chairman and CEO of Singapore Consortium Investment Management Limited, and the Chairman of Global Investments Limited.

His previous roles include CEO and Deputy Chairman of ST Engineering Ltd, MD of A*STAR, Chairman of ST Asset Management Ltd. He also served as Senior Advisor to Temasek from 2005 to 2017.

Boon is a member of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants and a Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants. He is a Professor of Practice at the Singapore University of Technology and Design.

David Bob Yeo

Vice President



Bob joined Tower Capital Asia in 2020. Prior to joining, Bob spent 5 years with Partners Group as a core member of the private equity team focused on Southeast Asia where he was involved in a number of education, healthcare and consumer related opportunities. Bob started his career with Value Partners Management Consulting, where he worked on projects in the telecommunications and education sectors.

Bob holds a Bachelor in Business Management from the Singapore Management University.

Danielle Mak

Assistant Manager, Finance and Operations



Danielle joined Tower Capital Asia in 2020. She began her career at Ernst & Young, and has over 10 years of experience in finance, operations and audit, most recently at a co-working space provider company, where she was responsible for management reporting and operations.

Danielle holds a Bachelor of Accountancy from Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. She is a member of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants.

Valerie Wong

Director, Investor Relations



Valerie has over 10 years of private equity experience. Prior to joining Tower Capital Asia in 2020, she was with TVM Capital Healthcare, focusing on fundraising and deal execution. Before TVM, she was a Director at Rising Tide Asia and subsequently Brown Legacy Group, a US Family Office where she drove the Asia investment strategy and the firm’s healthcare strategy. Over the span of her career, she has also worked at L Capital Asia and Rothschild Venture Asia.

Valerie holds a Bachelor of Commerce in Finance and Information Systems from the University of New South Wales.

Seth Lim

Vice President



Seth joined Tower Capital Asia in 2020. He was previously an Investment Manager at ADM Capital, a private credit lender based in Hong Kong. Prior to this, Seth was a Research Analyst at Brightline Capital based in Greenwich, Connecticut. Seth started his career with Goldman Sachs in New York.

Seth received a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the New York University, where he graduated magna cum laude.

Jeffrey Chua

Chief Strategy and Corporate Officer



Jeffrey joined TCA in 2021. He has over 23 years of investment, management and legal experience at Temasek. During his time at Temasek, he held senior roles leading teams focusing on financial services investments globally, across sectors in Japan, Korea and South-east Asian markets; as well as in mergers & acquisitions, legal & regulatory and organisational planning functions.

Jeffrey graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) degree and holds a Master of Laws (Banking and International Finance) degree from King’s College London. He has also attended the Advanced Management Programme at Harvard Business School.

Jonathan Ng

Managing Director, Value Creation and Digital



Jonathan joined Tower Capital Asia in 2021. He has over 12 years of strategy and operational experience in Southeast Asia with McKinsey, most recently serving as chief executive of McKinsey’s Digital Capability Centre. He has deep experience in leading and driving innovation and transformational change, having served a broad range of clients in the infrastructure, energy, industrial and public sectors. Prior to this, he had 9 years of public sector experience in various leadership roles across key government agencies.

He has an Master of Electrical Engineering from Imperial College London and a Master of Business Administration from MIT Sloan School of Management.

Tan Jeh Wuan

Non-Executive Director



Jeh Wuan has more than 30 years of investment banking experience with DBS Bank. His last position held was Managing Director and Head of Capital Markets Singapore, responsible for DBS Bank’s equity capital markets business in Singapore.

Jeh Wuan has served on various financial sector workgroups and committees in Singapore, including the ABS Corporate Finance Standing Committee, various working groups of the Institute of Banking & Finance (IBF), and the SGX Securities Advisory Committee. Jeh Wuan has a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering & Operations Research from the University of California, Berkeley. He was conferred as an IBF Fellow, Capital Markets in 2019.

So-Young Kang

Senior Advisor, Transformation & Tech



So-Young has over 20 years of experience across strategy, leadership, transformation and technology. She is currently the Founding Chairman of Awaken Group, a human-centered transformation design firm, and the Founder & CEO of Gnowbe, a microlearning creator tool for content designers to design more effective shared experiences which help people perform, engage and learn better.

With her background at McKinsey, Citigroup, and as an entrepreneur and executive coach, So-Young has been a strategic advisor to global leaders across the US, Asia, Europe, Middle East and Africa. She has been a Young Global Leader by the World Economic Forum since 2014 and is a regular speaker and attendee of Davos. So-Young is the author of Inside Out, and speaks regularly on multiple platforms including WEF, Davos, TEDx, Drucker Forum, etc. She is on the boards of Young Professionals' Group and founding member of SEA Founders.

So-Young holds a Bachelor of Arts with Honours from the University of Pennsylvania and a Master of Business Administration from Harvard University.

Dheeraj Mehta

Non-Executive Director



Dheeraj has been part of the investment team at Temasek since 2010. He is currently part of a platform that focuses on mid-market investments across Singapore, Europe and US. Over the last 11 years, he has led several investments across sectors including agri-business, consumer, financial services and industrials, as well as represented Temasek on the boards of a number of portfolio companies.

Prior to joining Temasek, Dheeraj was part of the M&A team at Rothschild. He has a Bachelor of Engineering in Computer Engineering from Delhi Institute of Technology and a Master of Business Administration from the Indian Institute of Management.

Paula Tay

Executive Assistant



Paula joined Tower Capital Asia in 2021 from the Clermont Group, a privately owned global investment firm, where she was an Executive Assistant for 11 years. At Clermont, she was responsible for ensuring the smooth running of office operations and providing C-Suite administrative support. Prior to entering the finance industry, Paula spent 10 years as a flight attendant, and was last a Senior Cabin Attendant with Japan Airlines.

Michelle Lim

Analyst



Michelle joined Tower Capital Asia in 2021 from SI Partners, where she was a manager responsible for technology-related M&A and consultancy projects across Asia Pacific. She began her career in corporate finance at KPMG Singapore covering the real estate, consumer industrials and healthcare sectors.

Michelle holds a Bachelor of Science in Business with Honours from the Kelley School of Business, Indiana University Bloomington.

Yan Ping Tham

Analyst



Yan Ping joined Tower Capital Asia in 2022. She was previously a portfolio manager at GIC, managing the overall portfolio’s asset rebalancing activities, and its global equity and commodity beta exposures.

Yan Ping holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Cambridge and a Master in Finance from The Bendheim Center for Finance at Princeton University.

Lenny Lim

Managing Director



Lenny joined Tower Capital Asia in 2022. He has over 20 years' experience in private equity investing, mergers and acquisitions, and capital market activities. Prior to joining the firm, he was a Partner at Navis Capital Partners, and before this, Deputy Head of Investments at Heliconia Capital Management. Lenny was previously in investment banking at J.P. Morgan and Goldman Sachs, based in Singapore, Beijing, Hong Kong and New York, and with GIC Special Investments in New York.

Lenny holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from the University of Cambridge.

John Thomson

Senior Advisor



John has over 25 years of private equity investment experience. He started his career as a graduate trainee with Coats Viyella, a global textile manufacturer. In 1996, he joined 3i initially in the UK, and then moved to Singapore in 2000 where he was responsible for the group’s Southeast Asia private equity business. During this time, he has led both minority and control deals in a range of industries from across Asia, including China, India and Southeast Asia.

John holds a Bachelor of Science in Physiology and Sports Science from Glasgow University.

Ng Ling Ling

Managing Director, Sustainability and Community



Ling Ling brings with her over 25 years of finance, social service, primary healthcare and community sector experience. Before joining Tower Capital Asia in 2022, she had worked in Singapore's Ministry of Health Office of Healthcare Transformation for over four years, leading pilots with technological, clinical and financial adaptations to enhance the country's primary care capabilities. Prior to that, Ling Ling spent nearly 16 years with Singapore's National Council of Social Service, where she last held the position of Assistant CEO. She has also been a Member of Parliament of Singapore since July 2020.

Ling Ling has a Bachelor of Accountancy from Nanyang Technological University and a Master of Public Administration from Australia National University.

Eunice Lim

Senior Associate, Finance and Operations



Eunice Lim joined Tower Capital Asia in 2022. Prior to this, she was with PwC Singapore (Financial Services Assurance), where she was involved in providing assurance services to clients in the asset and wealth management industry. During her time with PwC, she had worked on audit engagements of fund managers and unit trusts.

Eunice holds a Bachelor of Accountancy (First Class Honours) from Nanyang Technological University.

Reginald Lim

Manager, Fund Administration



Reginald joined Tower Capital Asia in 2023 with nine years of professional experience under his belt. Prior to this, he was with Axiom Asia Private Capital, where he was an Assistant Vice President of Finance, primarily responsible for investment performance reporting and fund administration operations. Reginald began his career at KPMG.

Reginald holds a Bachelor of Social Sciences in Economics from the National University of Singapore and is a member of the Institute of Singapore Chartered Accountants, as well as a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.

Chelsea Koh

Executive Assistant



Chelsea Koh is an Executive Assistant at the firm. She joins Tower Capital Asia in 2023 after a 20-year career in administration and personal assistance to C-level executives across various regional organisations.

Chelsea has a Diploma in Accounting awarded by the Management Development Institute of Singapore, and holds a basic certificate in Human Resource Management from the Singapore Human Resources Institute.
